Great results for members!
Members of Addicts to Athletes have had some incredible results this last couple of months.

Back in February David(left) took part in Kelly's 10km Guildford Run while sporting the new A2A kit. He achieved a fantastic time of 46:13 and placed 15th/144. Isn't it amazing what you can achieve when you have the desire to push past previous problems? At almost 50 years of age and suffering with addiction for over 30 years, he's beating people half his age now! He's continued to get great results since then, smashing his 10km time and most recently competing in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, setting a brilliant new PB of 1:41:56!
Nathaniel(centre) has also continued his great progress, gaining a new PB at the Canterbury Riverside 10km Event with a time of 1:03:50. Then in mid-April, he ran the Kent Spring Half-Marathon, with a time of 2:31:36. Consistency is key, and both of these athletes have continued to run and achieve great things in the process. Here's what Nathaniel had to say about it, "I’ve only recently got into running in the last year, taking it more seriously in the new year. My fiance has been extremely supportive with battling my addictions, as well as supporting me with my running and I’ve genuinely fell in love with it as an outlet that hasn’t come close since using. My only problem is that I don’t have enough hours in the day to run as much as I’d like! But appreciate all the support and good energy you put out in creating a community for people like us to better themselves physically, and mentally, and I genuinely believe it’s a stepping stone for greatness in other aspects of day to day life." -Nathaniel
The founder and Swim Bike Run Leader Connor was also out running recently as part of the Dark Skies Night Series. He placed 3rd at the Arlington Asteroids 10km, then 2nd at the Assault on Baggy Point, falling over twice and even losing a shoe at one point.
